Welcome back to I PINK IT! Today’s recipe is so easy to make and it has quickly become one of my favorite allergen free breakfast option. Yes, today I am sharing how to make your own acai bowl with homemade nut free granola!! If you have never heard of acai, this fruit is considered a superfood due to containing over 10 vitamins and minerals. This fruit is originally from the Amazon Rainforest and due to its properties to promote good health it has become popular around the world.
I can’t wait for all of you to learn more about the preparation process and to seek for those healthy allergen free toppings for your acai bowl. Since acai bowls are usually offered with granola, I had to show you how I make my own granola at home. It is completely nut free, as I have a severe allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. I am also making it gluten free and oil free due to my allergies. I hope you love this recipe as much as I do and I can’t wait to see your creations.
This recipe is vegan and top 8 allergen free, well as long as you remove the coconut. For some weird reason, the only tree nut I am not allergic to is coconut. If you have food allergies just like me this acai bowl is peanut free, dairy free, gluten free, soy free, nut free, and seeds free.
